قال تعالى: كلا إذا بلغت التراقي وقيل من راق [القيامة/ 26]، جمع ترقوة، وهي عظم وصل ما بين ثغرة النحر والعاتق.

Yüce Allah şöyle buyurdu: "Hayır! (Can) köprücük kemiklerine dayandığında ve 'okuyup üfleyerek kurtaracak kim var?' denildiğinde" [75:26]. et-Terâkî, terkuve (köprücük kemiği) kelimesinin çoğuludur; o, boğaz çukuru (nahr çukuru) ile omuz başı (âtik) arasını birleştiren kemiktir.
