قال تعالى: يوم ترونها تذهل كل مرضعة عما أرضعت [الحج/ 2]، الذهول: شغل يورث حزنا ونسيانا، يقال: ذهل عن كذا وأذهله كذا.

Yüce Allah şöyle buyurdu: "Onu göreceğiniz gün, her emzikli kadın emzirdiğinden geçer (tezhelü)" [22:2]. ez-Zühûl: üzüntü ve unutmayı doğuran meşguliyettir. Denir ki: "Şundan ذهل etti" (dalıp geçti, gaflet edip unuttu) ve "Şu onu أذهل etti" (meşgul edip unutturdu).
