قال تعالى: لدى الحناجر كاظمين [غافر/ 18]، وقال عز وجل: وبلغت القلوب الحناجر [الأحزاب/ 10]، جمع حنجرة، وهي رأس الغلصمة من خارج.

Yüce Allah şöyle buyurdu: "Yürekleri yutkunarak gırtlaklara dayanmış hâlde" [40:18]. Ve azze ve celle şöyle buyurdu: "Kalpler gırtlaklara dayandı" [33:10]. (el-Hanâcir,) hancere'nin çoğuludur; o da dışarıdan görünen gırtlak çıkıntısının (galsame) baş kısmıdır.
