درع سابغ: تام واسع. قال الله تعالى: أن اعمل سابغات [سبأ/ 11]، وعنه استعير إسباغ الوضوء، وإسباغ النعم قال: وأسبغ عليكم نعمه ظاهرة وباطنة [لقمان/ 20].

Dir'un sâbig: tam ve geniş zırh. Yüce Allah şöyle buyurdu: "Geniş (sâbigât) zırhlar yap" [34:11]. Bundan istiare yoluyla, abdesti eksiksiz alma (isbâğu'l-vudû') ve nimetleri bolca verme (isbâğu'n-niam) ifadeleri türetilmiştir. Allah şöyle buyurdu: "Ve açık ile gizli nimetlerini size bolca verdi (esbaga)" [31:20].
