السربال: القميص من أي جنس كان، قال: سرابيلهم من قطران [إبراهيم/ 50]، سرابيل تقيكم الحر وسرابيل تقيكم بأسكم [النحل/ 81]، أي: تقي بعضكم من بأس بعض.

es-sirbâl: Her cinsten (türden) olan gömlektir. Yüce Allah şöyle buyurdu: "Gömlekleri katrandandır" [14:50]; "Sizi sıcaktan koruyan giysiler ve sizi kendi şiddetinizden (darbelerinizden) koruyan giysiler" [16:81], yani: birinizi diğerinizin gücünden (darbesinden) korur.
