el-Fazz: huyu çirkin, kaba kimse. Bu, "el-fazz"dan, yani işkembedeki sudan istiare edilmiştir; onun içilmesi hoş karşılanmaz, ancak en şiddetli zaruret halinde içilir. Yüce Allah şöyle buyurdu: "Eğer kaba (fazz), katı kalpli olsaydın, çevrenden dağılıp giderlerdi." [3:159].
