79:25

فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ وَٱلْأُولَىٰٓ

Translation

EN

But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life.

so God condemned him to punishment in the life to come as well as in this life:

فجمع أهل مملكته وناداهم، فقال: أنا ربكم الذي لا ربَّ فوقه، فانتقم الله منه بالعذاب في الدنيا والآخرة، وجعله عبرة ونكالا لأمثاله من المتمردين. إن في فرعون وما نزل به من العذاب لموعظةً لمن يتعظ وينزجر.
