Yüce Allah şöyle buyurmuştur: "taze et" [16:14], yani körpe, yeni. Bu, "et-tarâ" ve "et-tarâve" (tazelik) kökündendir. "Tarraytu kezâ fe-tariye" (şunu tazeledim, o da tazeleşti) denir. Bundan giysilerden "el-mutrât" (kelimesi) gelir. "el-İtrâ": kişinin anılmasını tazeleyen övgü. Hemze ile "tara'e": doğdu, ortaya çıktı.
