← Surah 63

63:9

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُلْهِكُمْ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ عَن ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ وَمَن يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرُونَ

Translation

EN

O ye who believe! Let not your riches or your children divert you from the remembrance of Allah. If any act thus, the loss is their own.

Believers, do not let your wealth and your children distract you from remembering God: those who do so will be the ones who lose.

يا أيها الذين صدَّقوا الله ورسوله وعملوا بشرعه، لا تَشْغَلْكم أموالكم ولا أولادكم عن عبادة الله وطاعته، ومن تشغَله أمواله وأولاده عن ذلك، فأولئك هم المغبونون حظوظهم من كرامة الله ورحمته.
