7:136

فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَـٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا وَكَانُوا۟ عَنْهَا غَـٰفِلِينَ

Translation

EN

So We exacted retribution from them: We drowned them in the sea, because they rejected Our Signs and failed to take warning from them.

فانتقمنا منهم حين جاء الأجل المحدد لإهلاكهم، وذلك بإحلال نقمتنا عليهم، وهي إغراقهم في البحر؛ بسبب تكذيبهم بالمعجزات التي ظهرت على يد موسى، وكانوا عن هذه المعجزات غافلين، وتلك الغفلة هي سبب التكذيب.
