وَيَقُولُونَ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦ ۖ فَقُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْغَيْبُ لِلَّهِ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ

Translation

EN

They say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "The Unseen is only for Allah (to know), then wait ye: I too will wait with you."

They say, ‘Why has no miraculous sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say [Prophet], ‘Only God knows the unseen, so wait- I too am waiting.’

And they will say: If only a portent were sent down upon him from his Lord! Then say, (O Muhammad): The Unseen belongeth to Allah. So wait! Lo! I am waiting with you.

"Rabbinden ona (Muhammed'e) bir mucize indirilse ne olur!" derler. Onlara de ki: "Gaybı bilmek Allah'a mahsustur; bekleyin, doğrusu ben de sizinle birlikte beklemekteyim."

Bir de "Ona Rabbinden daha başka bir âyet indirilse ya!" diyorlar. De ki: "Gaybı bilmek ancak Allah'a mahsustur, bekleyiniz bakalım, ben de sizinle beraber bekleyeceğim şüphesiz."

“Ona (Muhammed’e) Rabbinden bir ayet (mucize) indirilse ya!” diyorlar. De ki: “Gayb (bilinemeyen her şey) yalnızca Allah’ın kontrolündedir. Bekleyin! Şüphesiz ki ben de sizinle birlikte bekleyenlerdenim.”

ويقول هؤلاء الكفرة المعاندون: هلاَّ أُنزل على محمد علم ودليل، وآية حسية من ربه نعلم بها أنه على حق فيما يقول، فقل لهم -أيها الرسول-: لا يعلم الغيب أحد إلا الله، فإن شاء فعل وإن شاء لم يفعل، فانتظروا -أيها القوم- قضاء الله بيننا وبينكم بتعجيل عقوبته للمبطل منا، ونصرة صاحب الحق، إني منتظر ذلك.
