40:9

وَقِهِمُ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ ۚ وَمَن تَقِ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ يَوْمَئِذٍ فَقَدْ رَحِمْتَهُۥ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Translation

EN

"And preserve them from (all) ills; and any whom Thou dost preserve from ills that Day,- on them wilt Thou have bestowed Mercy indeed: and that will be truly (for them) the highest Achievement".

Protect them from all evil deeds: those You protect on that Day from [the punishment for] evil deeds will receive Your mercy- that is the supreme triumph.’

واصرف عنهم سوء عاقبة سيئاتهم، فلا تؤاخذهم بها، ومن تصْرِف عنه السيئات يوم الحساب فقد رحمته، وأنعمت عليه بالنجاة من عذابك، وذلك هو الظَّفَر العظيم الذي لا فوز مثله.
