إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ ٱلسَّبْتُ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ فِيهِ ۚ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَيَحْكُمُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا۟ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ

Translation

EN

The Sabbath was only made (strict) for those who disagreed (as to its observance); But Allah will judge between them on the Day of Judgment, as to their differences.

إنما جعل الله تعظيم يوم السبت بالتفرغ للعبادة فيه على اليهود الذين اختلفوا فيه على نبيهم، واختاروه بدل يوم الجمعة الذي أُمِروا بتعظيمه. فإن ربك -أيها الرسول- لَيحكم بين المختلفين يوم القيامة فيما اختلفوا فيه على نبيهم، ويجازي كلا بما يستحقه.
