فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا۟ ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ مِنْ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ سَيُصِيبُهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا كَسَبُوا۟ وَمَا هُم بِمُعْجِزِينَ

Translation

EN

Nay, the evil results of their Deeds overtook them. And the wrong-doers of this (generation)- the evil results of their Deeds will soon overtake them (too), and they will never be able to frustrate (Our Plan)!

they suffered its evil effects. Today’s wrongdoers will also suffer the evil effects of their deeds: they will not escape.

But the evils that they earned smote them; and such of these as do wrong, the evils that they earn will smite them; they cannot escape.

And the evil consequences of what they earned struck them. And those who have wronged of these [people] will be struck [i.e., afflicted] by the evil consequences of what they earned; and they will not cause failure.

فأصاب الذين قالوا هذه المقالة من الأمم الخالية وبال سيئات ما كسبوا من الأعمال، فعوجلوا بالخزي في الحياة الدنيا، والذين ظلموا أنفسهم من قومك -أيها الرسول-، وقالوا هذه المقالة، سيصيبهم أيضًا وبال سيئات ما كسبوا، كما أصاب الذين من قبلهم، وما هم بفائتين الله ولا سابقيه.
