قهر

القهر: الغلبة والتذليل معا، ويستعمل في كل واحد منهما. قال تعالى: وهو القاهر فوق عباده [الأنعام/ 18]، وقال: وهو الواحد القهار [الرعد/ 16]، فوقهم قاهرون [الأعراف/ 127]، فأما اليتيم فلا تقهر [الضحى/ 9] أي: لا تذلل، وأقهره: سلط عليه من يقهره، والقهقرى: المشي إلى خلف.

"Kahr": galebe çalmak ve zelil kılmak (boyun eğdirmek) anlamlarının ikisi birden demektir; bunlardan her biri için de ayrı ayrı kullanılır. Yüce Allah şöyle buyurmuştur: "O, kullarının üstünde kahirdir (mutlak hâkimdir)" [6:18]. Ve şöyle buyurmuştur: "O, bir olan, kahhâr olandır" [13:16]. "Onların üzerinde kahirleriz (üstün ve hâkimiz)" [7:127]. "Öyleyse yetimi kahretme" [93:9], yani: onu zelil kılma/ezme. "Akherahu": ona, kendisini kahredecek birini musallat etti [demektir]. "Kahkarâ": geriye doğru yürümektir.
