مَن كَفَرَ بِٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ إِيمَـٰنِهِۦٓ إِلَّا مَنْ أُكْرِهَ وَقَلْبُهُۥ مُطْمَئِنٌّۢ بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ وَلَـٰكِن مَّن شَرَحَ بِٱلْكُفْرِ صَدْرًا فَعَلَيْهِمْ غَضَبٌ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

Translation

EN

Any one who, after accepting faith in Allah, utters Unbelief,- except under compulsion, his heart remaining firm in Faith - but such as open their breast to Unbelief, on them is Wrath from Allah, and theirs will be a dreadful Penalty.

With the exception of those who are forced to say they do not believe, although their hearts remain firm in faith, those who reject God after believing in Him and open their hearts to disbelief will have the wrath of God upon them and a grievous punishment awaiting them.

إنما يفتري الكذب مَن نطق بكلمة الكفر وارتدَّ بعد إيمانه، فعليهم غضب من الله، إلا مَن أُرغم على النطق بالكفر، فنطق به خوفًا من الهلاك وقلبه ثابت على الإيمان، فلا لوم عليه، لكن من نطق بالكفر واطمأن قلبه إليه، فعليهم غضب شديد من الله، ولهم عذاب عظيم؛ وذلك بسبب إيثارهم الدنيا وزينتها، وتفضيلهم إياها على الآخرة وثوابها، وأن الله لا يهدي الكافرين، ولا يوفقهم للحق والصواب.
