يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ ۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ

Translation

EN

On the Day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black: To those whose faces will be black, (will be said): "Did ye reject Faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting Faith."

On the Day when some faces brighten and others darken, it will be said to those with darkened faces, ‘How could you reject your faith after believing? Taste the torment for doing so,’

يوم القيامة تَبْيَضُّ وجوه أهل السعادة الذين آمنوا بالله ورسوله، وامتثلوا أمره، وتَسْوَدُّ وجوه أهل الشقاوة ممن كذبوا رسوله، وعصوا أمره. فأما الذين اسودَّت وجوههم، فيقال لهم توبيخًا: أكفرتم بعد إيمانكم، فاخترتم الكفر على الإيمان؟ فذوقوا العذاب بسبب كفركم.
