33:22

وَلَمَّا رَءَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلْأَحْزَابَ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا مَا وَعَدَنَا ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ وَصَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ ۚ وَمَا زَادَهُمْ إِلَّآ إِيمَـٰنًا وَتَسْلِيمًا

Translation

EN

When the Believers saw the Confederate forces, they said: "This is what Allah and his Messenger had promised us, and Allah and His Messenger told us what was true." And it only added to their faith and their zeal in obedience.

When the believers saw the joint forces, they said, ‘This is what God and His Messenger promised us: the promise of God and His Messenger is true,’ and this only served to increase their faith and submission to God.

And when the true believers saw the clans, they said: This is that which Allah and His messenger promised us. Allah and His messenger are true. It did but confirm them in their faith and resignation.

ولمَّا شاهد المؤمنون الأحزاب الذين تحزَّبوا حول "المدينة" وأحاطوا بها، تذكروا أن موعد النصر قد قرب، فقالوا: هذا ما وعدنا الله ورسوله، من الابتلاء والمحنة والنصر، فأنجز الله وعده، وصدق رسوله فيما بشَّر به، وما زادهم النظر إلى الأحزاب إلا إيمانًا بالله وتسليمًا لقضائه وانقيادًا لأمره.
