فجعلنا هذه القرية عبرة لمن بحضرتها من القرى، يبلغهم خبرها وما حلَّ بها، وعبرة لمن يعمل بعدها مثل تلك الذُّنوب، وجعلناها تذكرة للصالحين؛ ليعلموا أنهم على الحق، فيثبتوا عليه.

İçinizden cumartesi günü azgınlık edenleri elbette biliyorsunuz. Onlara "Aşağılık birer maymun olunuz" dedik; bunu, çağdaşlarına ve sonradan geleceklere bir ceza örneği ve Allah'a karşı gelmekten sakınanlara öğüt olsun diye yaptık.
