6:35

وإن كان عَظُمَ عليك -أيها الرسول- صدود هؤلاء المشركين وانصرافهم عن الاستجابة لدعوتك، فإن استطعت أن تتخذ نفقًا في الأرض، أو مصعدًا تصعد فيه إلى السماء، فتأتيهم بعلامة وبرهان على صحة قولك غير الذي جئناهم به فافعل. ولو شاء الله لَجَمعهم على الهدى الذي أنتم عليه ووفَّقهم للإيمان، ولكن لم يشأ ذلك لحكمة يعلمها سبحانه، فلا تكونن -أيها الرسول- من الجاهلين الذين اشتد حزنهم، وتحسَّروا حتى أوصلهم ذلك إلى الجزع الشديد.

Onların yüz çevirmesi sana ağır gelince, eğer gücün yeri delmeye veya göğe merdiven dayamağa yetmiş olsaydı, onlara bir mucize göstermek isterdin. Allah dileseydi onları doğru yolda toplardı. Sakın bilmeyenlerden olma.

If their spurning is hard on thy mind, yet if thou wert able to seek a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the skies and bring them a sign,- (what good?). If it were Allah's will, He could gather them together unto true guidance: so be not thou amongst those who are swayed by ignorance (and impatience)!

If you find rejection by the disbelievers so hard to bear, then seek a tunnel into the ground or a ladder into the sky, if you can, and bring them a sign: God could bring them all to guidance if it were His will, so do not join the ignorant.
