21:80

وَعَلَّمْنَـٰهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَّكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُم مِّنۢ بَأْسِكُمْ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُمْ شَـٰكِرُونَ

Translation

EN

It was We Who taught him the making of coats of mail for your benefit, to guard you from each other's violence: will ye then be grateful?

We taught him how to make coats of mail for the benefit of you [people], to protect you in your wars, but are you grateful for this?

واختصَّ الله داود عليه السلام بأن علَّمه صناعة الدروع يعملها حِلَقًا متشابكة، تسهِّل حركة الجسم؛ لتحمي المحاربين مِن وَقْع السلاح فيهم، فهل أنتم شاكرون نعمة الله عليكم حيث أجراها على يد عبده داود؟
