وَقَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَ ٱلسَّاحِرُ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِندَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ

EN

And they said, "O thou sorcerer! Invoke thy Lord for us according to His covenant with thee; for we shall truly accept guidance."

They said, ‘Sorcerer, call on your Lord for us, by virtue of His pledge to you: we shall certainly accept guidance,’

وقال فرعون وملؤه لموسى: يا أيها العالم (وكان الساحر فيهم عظيمًا يُوَقِّرونه ولم يكن السحر صفة ذم) ادع لنا ربك بعهده الذي عهد إليك وما خصَّك به من الفضائل أن يكشف عنا العذاب، فإن كشف عنا العذاب فإننا لمهتدون مؤمنون بما جئتنا به.
