46:12

وَمِن قَبْلِهِۦ كِتَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِمَامًا وَرَحْمَةً ۚ وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّسَانًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّيُنذِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ وَبُشْرَىٰ لِلْمُحْسِنِينَ

Translation

EN

And before this, was the Book of Moses as a guide and a mercy: And this Book confirms (it) in the Arabic tongue; to admonish the unjust, and as Glad Tidings to those who do right.

Yet the scripture of Moses was revealed before it as a guide and a mercy, and this is a scripture confirming it in the Arabic language to warn those who do evil and bring good news for those who do good.

ومن قبل هذا القرآن أنزلنا التوراة إمامًا لبني إسرائيل يقتدون بها، ورحمة لمن آمن بها وعمل بما فيها، وهذا القرآن مصدق لما قبله من الكتب، أنزلناه بلسان عربي؛ لينذر الذين ظلموا أنفسهم بالكفر والمعصية، وبشرى للذين أطاعوا الله، فأحسنوا في إيمانهم وطاعتهم في الدنيا.
