ألم تعلم- أيها النبي- أن الله سبحانه يسجد له خاضعًا منقادًا مَن في السموات من الملائكة ومَن في الأرض من المخلوقات والشمس والقمر والنجوم والجبال والشجر والدواب؟ ولله يسجد طاعة واختيارًا كثير من الناس، وهم المؤمنون، وكثير من الناس حق عليه العذاب فهو مهين، وأيُّ إنسان يهنه الله فليس له أحد يكرمه. إن الله يفعل في خلقه ما يشاء وَفْقَ حكمته.

Göklerde ve yerde olanların, güneş, ay, yıldızlar, dağlar, ağaçlar, hayvanların ve insanların birçoğunun Allah'a secde ettiklerini görmüyor musun? İnsanların birçoğu da azabı hak etmiştir. Allah'ın alçalttığı kimseyi yükseltebilecek yoktur. Doğrusu Allah ne dilerse yapar.

Görmedin mi, göklerdeki kimseler, yerdeki kimseler, güneş, ay ve yıldızlar, dağlar, ağaçlar, bütün hayvanlar ve insanlardan birçoğu hep Allah'a secde ediyor. Birçoğunun üzerine de azab hak olmuştur. Allah kimi hor ve hakir kılarsa artık ona ikram edecek yoktur. Şüphesiz Allah dilediği şeyi yapar.

Seest thou not that to Allah bow down in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth,- the sun, the moon, the stars; the hills, the trees, the animals; and a great number among mankind? Do you not realize [Prophet] that everything in the heavens and earth submits to God: the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, and the animals? So do many human beings, though for many others punishment is well deserved. Anyone disgraced by God will have no one to honour him: God does whatever He will.

Do you not see [i.e., know] that to Allāh prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allāh humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allāh does what He wills.
