يا أهل الكتاب من اليهود والنصارى، قد جاءكم رسولنا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم يبيِّن لكم كثيرًا مما كنتم تُخْفونه عن الناس مما في التوراة والإنجيل، ويترك بيان ما لا تقتضيه الحكمة. قد جاءكم من الله نور وكتاب مبين: وهو القرآن الكريم.

Ey Kitap ehli! Kitap'dan gizleyip durduğunuzun çoğunu size açıkça anlatan ve çoğundan da geçiveren peygamberimiz gelmiştir. Doğrusu size Allah'tan bir nur ve apaçık bir Kitap gelmiştir.

O people of the Book! There hath come to you our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): There hath come to you from Allah a (new) light and a perspicuous Book, -
