قَالَ يَـٰقَوْمِ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِن كُنتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّى وَءَاتَىٰنِى مِنْهُ رَحْمَةً فَمَن يَنصُرُنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ عَصَيْتُهُۥ ۖ فَمَا تَزِيدُونَنِى غَيْرَ تَخْسِيرٍ

Translation

EN

He said: "O my people! do ye see? if I have a Clear (Sign) from my Lord and He hath sent Mercy unto me from Himself,- who then can help me against Allah if I were to disobey Him? What then would ye add to my (portion) but perdition?

He said, ‘My people, just think: if I did have clear proof from my Lord, and if He had given me mercy of His own, who could protect me from God if I disobeyed Him? You would only make my loss greater.

He said: O my people! Bethink you: if I am (acting) on clear proof from my Lord and there hath come unto me a mercy from Him, who will save me from Allah if I disobey Him? Ye would add to me naught save perdition.

He said, "O my people, have you considered: if I should be upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has given me mercy from Himself, who would protect me from Allāh if I disobeyed Him? So you would not increase me except in loss.

"Ey milletim! Eğer Rabbimden bir belgem olur ve bana rahmet eder de ben O'na baş kaldırırsam, söyleyin, Allah'a karşı beni kim savunur? Bana zararımı artırmaktan başka birşey yapamazsınız" dedi.

Salih dedi: "Ey kavmim! Eğer ben Rabbimden açık bir mucize üzerinde isem ve o bana tarafından bir rahmet bahşetmiş ise, ben Allah'a isyan ettiğim takdirde beni O'ndan kim kurtarabilir? Demek ki, siz bana zarar vermekten başka bir şey yapmıyorsunuz."

(Salih onlara) şöyle demişti: “Ey kavmim! Bir düşünsenize! Ben Rabbim tarafından apaçık bir delil üzerinde isem ve O bana kendinden bir rahmet vermiş ise (hâliniz nasıl olacak?) O’na asi olursam, beni Allah’tan (O’nun azabından) kim koruyabilir ki! (O zaman) siz de kaybımı artırmaktan başka bir şey yapmamış olurdunuz.

قال صالح لقومه: يا قوم أخبروني إن كنت على برهان من الله وآتاني منه النبوة والحكمة، فمن الذي يدفع عني عقاب الله تعالى إن عصيته فلم أبلِّغ الرسالة وأنصحْ لكم؟ فما تزيدونني غير تضليل وإبعاد عن الخير.
