12:19

وَجَآءَتْ سَيَّارَةٌ فَأَرْسَلُوا۟ وَارِدَهُمْ فَأَدْلَىٰ دَلْوَهُۥ ۖ قَالَ يَـٰبُشْرَىٰ هَـٰذَا غُلَـٰمٌ ۚ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَـٰعَةً ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ

Translation

EN

Then there came a caravan of travellers: they sent their water-carrier (for water), and he let down his bucket (into the well)... He said: "Ah there! Good news! Here is a (fine) young man!" So they concealed him as a treasure! But Allah knoweth well all that they do!

Some travellers came by. They sent someone to draw water and he let down his bucket. ‘Good news!’ he exclaimed. ‘Here is a boy!’ They hid him like a piece of merchandise- God was well aware of what they did-

And there came a caravan, and they sent their waterdrawer. He let down his pail (into the pit). He said: Good luck! Here is a youth. And they hid him as a treasure, and Allah was Aware of what they did.

Bir kervan geldi, sucularını gönderdiler; sucu kovasını kuyuya saldı, "Müjde! İşte bir oğlan" dedi. Yusuf'u alıp onu ticari bir mal olarak sakladılar. Oysa Allah yaptıklarını bilir.

Daha sonra bir kafile gelmiş, sucularını da göndermişlerdi. Vardı, kovasını kuyuya saldı, "Müjde hey, müjde! İşte bir çocuk!" dedi. Ve onu satılık bir mal olarak gizleyip korudular. Allah ise onların ne yapacaklarını biliyordu.

Bir kervan gelmiş, sucularını (kuyuya) göndermişlerdi; o da kovasını (kuyuya) salmıştı. (Yusuf’u görünce) “Aa, müjde! İşte bir erkek çocuk!” demişti. Onu sermaye (bir ticaret malı) olarak saklamışlardı. Allah onların yaptıklarını bilendir.

وجاءت جماعة من المسافرين، فأرسلوا مَن يطلب لهم الماء، فلما أرسل دلوه في البئر تعلَّق بها يوسف، فقال واردهم: يا بشراي هذا غلام نفيس، وأخفى الواردُ وأصحابه يوسفَ من بقية المسافرين فلم يظهروه لهم، وقالوا: إن هذه بضاعة استبضعناها، والله عليم بما يعملونه بيوسف.
