إِذْ قَالُوا۟ لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ

Translation

EN

They said: "Truly Joseph and his brother are loved more by our father than we: But we are a goodly body! really our father is obviously wandering (in his mind)!

The brothers said [to each other], ‘Although we are many, Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are–– our father is clearly in the wrong.’

إذ قال إخوة يوسف من أبيه فيما بينهم: إن يوسف وأخاه الشقيق أحب إلى أبينا منا، يفضِّلهما علينا، ونحن جماعة ذوو عدد، إن أبانا لفي خطأ بيِّن حيث فضَّلهما علينا من غير موجب نراه.
