فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ قَالُوا۟ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهْلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئْنَا بِبِضَـٰعَةٍ مُّزْجَىٰةٍ فَأَوْفِ لَنَا ٱلْكَيْلَ وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجْزِى ٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ

Translation

EN

Then, when they came (back) into (Joseph's) presence they said: "O exalted one! distress has seized us and our family: we have (now) brought but scanty capital: so pay us full measure, (we pray thee), and treat it as charity to us: for Allah doth reward the charitable."

Then, when they presented themselves before Joseph, they said, ‘Mighty governor, misfortune has afflicted us and our family. We have brought only a little merchandise, but give us full measure. Be charitable to us: God rewards the charitable.’

And when they came (again) before him (Joseph) they said: O ruler! Misfortune hath touched us and our folk, and we bring but poor merchandise, so fill for us the measure and be charitable unto us. Lo! Allah will requite the charitable,

So when they entered upon him [i.e., Joseph], they said, "O ʿAzeez, adversity has touched us and our family, and we have come with goods poor in quality, but give us full measure and be charitable to us. Indeed, Allāh rewards the charitable."

Kardeşleri vezirin yanına vardıklarında: "Ey Vezir! Biz ve çoluk çocuğumuz darlığa uğradık; pek değersiz bir malla geldik; ölçeği bize tam yap ve sadaka ver; Allah sadaka verenleri şüphesiz mükafatlandırır" dediler.

Sonra (Mısır'a gidip) onun huzuruna girince, dediler ki: "Ey şanlı vezir! Biz ve çoluk çocuğumuz sıkıntı içindeyiz. Pek az bir sermaye ile geldik. Sen bize yine ölçek (zahire) ver, ayrıca sadaka da ihsan eyle. Çünkü Allah sadaka verenleri muhakkak mükafatlandırır."

(Kardeşleri Yusuf’un) yanına girdiklerinde şöyle demişlerdi: “Ey vezir! Bizi ve ailemizi kıtlık bastı ve biz değersiz (az) bir sermaye ile geldik. Hakkımızı tam ölçerek ver! (Ayrıca) bize bağışta da bulun! Şüphesiz ki Allah bağışta bulunanları ödüllendirir.”

فذهبوا إلى "مصر"، فلما دخلوا على يوسف قالوا: يا أيها العزيز أصابنا وأهلنا القحط والجدب، وجئناك بثمن رديء قليل، فأعطنا به ما كنت تعطينا من قبل بالثمن الجيد، وتصدَّقْ علينا بقبض هذه الدراهم المزجاة وتجوَّز فيها، إن الله تعالى يثيب المتفضِّلين على أهل الحاجة بأموالهم.
