Translation

EN

Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?

A. Yusuf Alipublic-domain

We have allowed these sinners and their forefathers to enjoy life for a long time. But do they not see how We are shrinking their borders? Is it they who will prevail?

M.A.S. Abdel Haleemall-rights-reserved

Nay, but We gave these and their fathers ease until life grew long for them. See they not how we aim to the land, reducing it of its outlying parts? Can they then be the victors?

M. Pickthallpublic-domain

But, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? Is it they who will overcome?

Biz bunlara ve babalarına geçimlikler verdik de ömürleri uzadı; şimdi memleketlerini her yandan eksilttiğimizi görmüyorlar mı? Üstün gelen onlar mıdır?

Doğrusu biz o kâfirleri ve atalarını yaşattık, hatta o ömür onlara uzun geldi. Fakat şimdi memleketlerini her yandan eksilttiğimizi görmüyorlar mı? O halde üstün gelen onlar mıdır?

Elmalılı Hamdi Yazırpublic-domain

(Oysa) onları da babalarını (atalarını) da yararlandırdık. Sonunda ömür kendilerine (hiç bitmeyecek gibi) uzun geldi.Yeryüzüne gelip, onu uçlarından eksilttiğimizi görmezler mi? Üstün gelen onlar mıymış!
