6:44

فَلَمَّا نَسُوا۟ مَا ذُكِّرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَٰبَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فَرِحُوا۟ بِمَآ أُوتُوٓا۟ أَخَذْنَـٰهُم بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُم مُّبْلِسُونَ

Translation

EN

But when they forgot the warning they had received, We opened to them the gates of all (good) things, until, in the midst of their enjoyment of Our gifts, on a sudden, We called them to account, when lo! they were plunged in despair!

So, when they had forgotten the warning they had received, We opened the gates to everything for them. Then, as they revelled in what they had been given, We struck them suddenly and they were dumbfounded.

Then, when they forgot that whereof they had been reminded, We opened unto them the gates of all things till, even as they were rejoicing in that which they were given, We seized them unawares, and lo! they were dumbfounded.

فلما تركوا العمل بأوامر الله تعالى معرضين عنها، فتحنا عليهم أبواب كل شيء من الرزق فأبدلناهم بالبأساء رخاءً في العيش، وبالضراء صحة في الأجسام؛ استدراجا منا لهم، حتى إذا بطروا، وأعجبوا بما أعطيناهم من الخير والنعمة أخذناهم بالعذاب فجأة، فإذا هم آيسون منقطعون من كل خير.
