وإذا تتلى آيات القرآن الواضحة على هؤلاء المشركين ترى الكراهة ظاهرة على وجوههم، يكادون يبطشون بالمؤمنين الذين يدعونهم إلى الله تعالى، ويتلون عليهم آياته. قل لهم -أيها الرسول-: أفلا أخبركم بما هو أشد كراهة إليكم من سماع الحق ورؤية الداعين إليه؟ النار أعدَّها الله للكافرين في الآخرة، وبئس المكان الذي يصيرون إليه.

Onlara ayetlerimiz apaçık olarak okunduğu zaman, inkar edenlerin yüzlerinden inkarlarını anlarsın. Nerdeyse, kendilerine ayetlerimizi okuyanlara saldıracaklar. De ki: "Size bundan daha fenasını haber vereyim mi? Allah'ın inkarcılara vadettiği ateş! Ne kötü bir dönüştür!..

Âyetlerimiz kendilerine apaçık olarak okunduğu zaman, o kâfirlerin yüzlerinden inkârlarını anlarsın. Neredeyse, kendilerine âyetlerimizi okuyanlara saldıracaklar. De ki: "Şimdi size ondan daha kötü olanını haber vereyim mi? O, ateştir. Allah bunu kâfir olanlara vaad buyurdu. O ne kötü bir dönüş yeridir."

Ayetlerimiz kendilerine açıkça tilavet edildiği (okunup aktarıldığı) zaman, kâfir olanların yüzlerinde hoşnutsuzluk (olduğunu) bilirsin (fark edersin). Onlar, kendilerine ayetlerimizi tilavet edenlere (okuyup aktaranlara) neredeyse saldırırlar. De ki: “Size bundan (bu öfkenize sebep olan şeyden) daha kötüsünü bildireyim mi? Allah’ın kâfir olanlara vadettiği (cehennemdeki) ateş!” Ne kötü varış yeridir (orası)!

When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!"

[Prophet], you can see the hostility on the faces of the disbelievers when Our messages are recited clearly to them: it is almost as if they are going to attack those who recite Our messages to them. Say, ‘Shall I tell you what is far worse than what you feel now? The Fire that God has promised the disbelievers! What a dismal end!’

And when Our revelations are recited unto them, thou knowest the denial in the faces of those who disbelieve; they all but attack those who recite Our revelations unto them. Say: Shall I proclaim unto you worse than that? The Fire! Allah hath promised it for those who disbelieve. A hapless journey's end!

And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, you recognize in the faces of those who disbelieve disapproval. They are almost on the verge of assaulting those who recite to them Our verses. Say, "Then shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that? [It is] the Fire which Allāh has promised those who disbelieve, and wretched is the destination."
