12:23

وَرَٰوَدَتْهُ ٱلَّتِى هُوَ فِى بَيْتِهَا عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ وَغَلَّقَتِ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ ۚ قَالَ مَعَاذَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ رَبِّىٓ أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَاىَ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ

Translation

EN

But she in whose house he was, sought to seduce him from his (true) self: she fastened the doors, and said: "Now come, thou (dear one)!" He said: "Allah forbid! truly (thy husband) is my lord! he made my sojourn agreeable! truly to no good come those who do wrong!"

The woman in whose house he was living tried to seduce him: she bolted the doors and said, ‘Come to me,’ and he replied, ‘God forbid! My master has been good to me; wrongdoers never prosper.’

And she, in whose house he was, asked of him an evil act. She bolted the doors and said: Come! He said: I seek refuge in Allah! Lo! he is my lord, who hath treated me honourably. Lo! wrong-doers never prosper.

And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him. She closed the doors and said, "Come, you." He said, "[I seek] the refuge of Allāh. Indeed, he is my master, who has made good my residence. Indeed, wrongdoers will not succeed."

Evinde bulunduğu kadın onu kendine çağırdı, kapıları sıkı sıkı kapadı ve "gelsene" dedi. Yusuf: "Günah işlemekten Allah'a sığınırım, doğrusu senin kocan benim efendimdir; bana iyi baktı. Haksızlık yapanlar şüphesiz başarıya ulaşamazlar." dedi.

Derken, evinde bulunduğu hanım, onun nefsinden murad alıp yararlanmak istedi. Kapıları kilitledi ve "Haydi beri gel!" dedi. Yusuf: "Allah'a sığınırım! Muhakkak ki, o (kocan), benim efendim, bana çok güzel baktı. Doğrusu zalimler hiç iflah olmazlar" dedi.

ودعت امرأة العزيز -برفق ولين- يوسف الذي هو في بيتها إلى نفسها؛ لحبها الشديد له وحسن بهائه، وغلَّقت الأبواب عليها وعلى يوسف، وقالت: هلمَّ إليَّ، فقال: معاذ الله أعتصم به، وأستجير مِن الذي تدعينني إليه، من خيانة سيدي الذي أحسن منزلتي وأكرمني فلا أخونه في أهله، إنه لا يفلح مَن ظَلَم فَفَعل ما ليس له فعله.
