وَيَوْمَ يَعَضُّ ٱلظَّالِمُ عَلَىٰ يَدَيْهِ يَقُولُ يَـٰلَيْتَنِى ٱتَّخَذْتُ مَعَ ٱلرَّسُولِ سَبِيلًا

Translation

EN

The Day that the wrong-doer will bite at his hands, he will say, "Oh! would that I had taken a (straight) path with the Messenger!

On that Day the evildoer will bite his own hand and say, ‘If only I had taken the same path as the Messenger.

O gün, zalim kimse ellerini ısırıp: "Keşke Peygamberle beraber bir yol tutsaydım, vay başıma gelene; keşke falancayı dost edinmeseydim. And olsun ki beni, bana gelen Kuran'dan o saptırdı. Şeytan insanı yalnız ve yardımcısız bırakıyor" der.

واذكر - أيها الرسول - يوم يَعَضُّ الظالم لنفسه على يديه ندمًا وتحسرًا قائلا يا ليتني صاحبت رسول الله محمدًا صلى الله عليه وسلم واتبعته في اتخاذ الإسلام طريقًا إلى الجنة، ويتحسَّر قائلا يا ليتني لم أتخذ الكافر فلانًا صديقًا أتبعه وأوده. لقد أضلَّني هذا الصديق عن القرآن بعد إذ جاءني. وكان الشيطان الرجيم خذولا للإنسان دائمًا. وفي هذه الآيات التحذير من مصاحبة قرين السوء؛ فإنه قد يكون سببًا لإدخال قرينه النار.
