And they have been commanded no more than this: To worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being true (in faith); to establish regular prayer; and to practise regular charity; and that is the Religion Right and Straight.

though all they are ordered to do is worship God alone, sincerely devoting their religion to Him as people of true faith, keep up the prayer, and pay the prescribed alms, for that is the true religion.

M.A.S. Abdel Haleemall-rights-reserved

And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion.

And they were not commanded except to worship Allāh, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakāh. And that is the correct religion.

Oysa onlar, doğruya yönelerek, dini yalnız Allah'a has kılarak O'na kulluk etmek, namazı kılmak ve zekatı vermekle emrolunmuşlardı. Dosdoğru olan din de budur.

Halbuki onlar, dini sadece Allah'a tahsis ederek, Allah'ı birleyerek, ancak Allah'a ibadet etmekle, namazı kılmakla ve zekatı vermekle emrolunmuşlardır. İşte dosdoğru din budur.

(Oysa) dini yalnız O’na özgü kılarak, hanîfler (Allah’ı birleyenler) olarak Allah’a kulluk etmeleri, namaz kılmaları ve zekât vermeleri kendilerine özellikle emredilmişti. İşte sağlam din budur.
