Yeryüzünde haksız yere büyüklük taslayanları, ayetlerimden yüz çevirteceğim. Onlar bütün ayetleri görseler yine de inanmazlar; doğru yolu görseler, yol olarak benimsemezler; azgınlık yolunu görseler, hemen onu yol edinirler. Bu, onların mucizelerimizi yalan saymaları ve onlardan habersiz görünmelerinden ileri gelir.

Yeryüzünde haksız yere büyüklük taslayanları, âyetlerimizi anlamaktan uzak tutacağım. Onlar ki, bütün âyetlerimizi görseler de onlara iman etmezler. Doğru yolu görseler de o yolu tutup gitmezler. Eğer sapıklık yolunu görürlerse tutar onu izlerler. Çünkü onlar âyetlerimizi inkâr etmeyi âdet edinmişler ve onlardan hep gafil olagelmişlerdir.

Those who behave arrogantly on the earth in defiance of right - them will I turn away from My signs: Even if they see all the signs, they will not believe in them; and if they see the way of right conduct, they will not adopt it as the way; but if they see the way of error, that is the way they will adopt. For they have rejected our signs, and failed to take warning from them.

I will keep distracted from My signs those who behave arrogantly on Earth without any right, and who, even if they see every sign, will not believe in them; they will not take the way of right guidance if they see it, but will take the way of error if they see that. This is because they denied Our signs and paid them no heed:

I shall turn away from My revelations those who magnify themselves wrongfully in the earth, and if they see each token believe it not, and if they see the way of righteousness choose it nor for (their) way, and if they see the way of error choose if for (their) way. That is because they deny Our revelations and are used to disregard them.

I will turn away from My signs those who are arrogant upon the earth without right; and if they should see every sign, they will not believe in it. And if they see the way of consciousness, they will not adopt it as a way; but if they see the way of error, they will adopt it as a way. سأصرف عن فَهْم الحجج والأدلة الدالة على عظمتي وشريعتي وأحكامي قلوب المتكبرين عن طاعتي، والمتكبرين على الناس بغير الحق، فلا يتبعون نبيًا ولا يصغون إليه لتكبرهم، وإنْ يَرَ هؤلاء المتكبرون عن الإيمان كل آية لا يؤمنوا بها لإعراضهم ومحادَّتهم لله ورسوله، وإن يروا طريق الصلاح لا يتخذوه طريقًا، وإن يروا طريق الضلال، أي الكفر يتخذوه طريقًا ودينًا؛ وذلك بسبب تكذيبهم بآيات الله وغفلتهم عن النظر فيها والتفكر في دلالاتها.
