۞ أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ فَطَالَ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْأَمَدُ فَقَسَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَـٰسِقُونَ

الترجمة

ألم يحن الوقت للذين صدَّقوا الله ورسوله واتَّبَعوا هديه، أن تلين قلوبهم عند ذكر الله وسماع القرآن، ولا يكونوا في قسوة القلوب كالذين أوتوا الكتاب من قبلهم- من اليهود والنصارى- الذين طال عليهم الزمان فبدَّلوا كلام الله، فقست قلوبهم، وكثير منهم خارجون عن طاعة الله؟ وفي الآية الحث على الرقة والخشوع لله سبحانه عند سماع ما أنزله من الكتاب والحكمة، والحذر من التشبه باليهود والنصارى، في قسوة قلوبهم، وخروجهم عن طاعة الله.

İnananların gönüllerinin Allah'ı anması ve O'ndan inen gerçeğe içten bağlanması zamanı daha gelmedi mi? Onlar, daha önce kendilerine kitap verilenler gibi olmasınlar; onların üzerinden uzun zaman geçti de kalbleri katılaştı; çoğu, yoldan çıkmış kimselerdir.

Has not the Time arrived for the Believers that their hearts in all humility should engage in the remembrance of Allah and of the Truth which has been revealed (to them), and that they should not become like those to whom was given Revelation aforetime, but long ages passed over them and their hearts grew hard? For many among them are rebellious transgressors.

Is it not time for believers to humble their hearts to the remembrance of God and the Truth that has been revealed, and not to be like those who received the Scripture before them, whose time was extended but whose hearts hardened and many of whom were lawbreakers?
