3:140

إِن يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ ٱلْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِّثْلُهُۥ ۚ وَتِلْكَ ٱلْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمْ شُهَدَآءَ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Translation

EN

If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong.

if you have suffered a blow, they too have suffered one like it. We deal out such days among people in turn, for God to find out who truly believes, for Him to choose martyrs from among you- God does not love evildoers-

These are (only) the vicissitudes which We cause to follow one another for mankind, to the end that Allah may know those who believe and may choose witnesses from among you; and Allah loveth not wrong-doers.

Eğer siz (Uhud'da) bir yara almışsanız, (size düşman olan) o topluluk da (Bedir'de) benzeri bir yara almıştı. Böylece biz, Allah'ın gerçek müminleri ortaya çıkarması ve içinizden şahitler edinmesi için, bu günleri bazen lehe, bazen de aleyhe döndürüp duruyoruz. Allah, zulmedenleri sevmez.

إن أصابتكم -أيها المؤمنون- جراح أو قتل في غزوة "أُحد" فحزنتم لذلك، فقد أصاب المشركين جراح وقتل مثل ذلك في غزوة "بدر". وتلك الأيام يُصَرِّفها الله بين الناس، نصر مرة وهزيمة أخرى، لما في ذلك من الحكمة، حتى يظهر ما علمه الله في الأزل ليميز الله المؤمن الصادق مِن غيره، ويُكْرِمَ أقوامًا منكم بالشهادة. والله لا يحب الذين ظلموا أنفسهم، وقعدوا عن القتال في سبيله.
