يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ مَا قَالُوا۟ وَلَقَدْ قَالُوا۟ كَلِمَةَ ٱلْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بَعْدَ إِسْلَـٰمِهِمْ وَهَمُّوا۟ بِمَا لَمْ يَنَالُوا۟ ۚ وَمَا نَقَمُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ أَنْ أَغْنَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۚ فَإِن يَتُوبُوا۟ يَكُ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَتَوَلَّوْا۟ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ ٱللَّهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا فِى ٱلدُّنْيَا وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مِن وَلِىٍّ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

الترجمة

يحلف المنافقون بالله أنهم ما قالوا شيئًا يسيء إلى الرسول وإلى المسلمين، إنهم لكاذبون؛ فلقد قالوا كلمة الكفر وارتدوا بها عن الإسلام وحاولوا الإضرار برسول الله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلم يمكنهم الله من ذلك، وما وجد المنافقون شيئًا يعيبونه، وينتقدونه، إلا أن الله -تعالى- تفضل عليهم، فأغناهم بما فتح على نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم من الخير والبركة، فإن يرجع هؤلاء الكفار إلى الإيمان والتوبة فهو خير لهم، وإن يعرضوا، أو يستمروا على حالهم، يعذبهم الله العذاب الموجع في الدنيا على أيدي المؤمنين، وفي الآخرة بنار جهنم، وليس لهم منقذ ينقذهم ولا ناصر يدفع عنهم سوء العذاب.

Tafsir al-Muyassarfree-distribution

And olsun ki, müslüman olduktan sonra inkar edip küfür sözünü söylemişler iken, söylemedik diye Allah'a yemin ettiler, başaramayacakları bir şeye giriştiler; Allah ve Peygamberi bol nimetinden onları zenginleştirdi ve öç almaya kalktılar. Eğer tevbe ederlerse iyiliklerine olur; şayet yüz çevirirlerse, Allah onları dünya ve ahirette can yakıcı azaba uğratır. Yeryüzünde bir dost ve yardımcıları yoktur.

They swear by Allah that they said nothing (evil), but indeed they uttered blasphemy, and they did it after accepting Islam; and they meditated a plot which they were unable to carry out: this revenge of theirs was (their) only return for the bounty with which Allah and His Messenger had enriched them! If they repent, it will be best for them; but if they turn back (to their evil ways), Allah will punish them with a grievous penalty in this life and in the Hereafter: They shall have none on earth to protect or help them.

They swear by God that they did not, but they certainly did speak words of defiance and became defiant after having submitted; they tried to do something, though they did not achieve it, ––being spiteful was their only response to God and His Messenger enriching them out of His bounty. They would be better off turning back [to God]: if they turn away, God will punish them in this world and the Hereafter, and there will be no one on earth to protect or help them.

And they purposed that which they could not attain, and they sought revenge only that Allah by His messenger should enrich them of His bounty. If they repent it will be better for them; and if they turn away, Allah will afflict them with a painful doom in the world and the Hereafter, and they have no protecting friend nor helper in the earth.

And they were not resentful except [for the fact] that Allāh and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. So if they repent, it is better for them; but if they turn away, Allāh will punish them with a painful punishment in this world and the Hereafter. And there will not be for them on earth any protector or helper.
