5:32

مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَٰلِكَ كَتَبْنَا عَلَىٰ بَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ أَنَّهُۥ مَن قَتَلَ نَفْسًۢا بِغَيْرِ نَفْسٍ أَوْ فَسَادٍ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَكَأَنَّمَا قَتَلَ ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًا وَمَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَآ أَحْيَا ٱلنَّاسَ جَمِيعًا ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُنَا بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ثُمَّ إِنَّ كَثِيرًا مِّنْهُم بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ لَمُسْرِفُونَ

Translation

EN

On that account: We ordained for the Children of Israel that if any one slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if any one saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people. Then although there came to them Our messengers with clear signs, yet, even after that, many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.

On account of [his deed], We decreed to the Children of Israel that if anyone kills a person- unless in retribution for murder or spreading corruption in the land- it is as if he kills all mankind, while if any saves a life it is as if he saves the lives of all mankind. Our messengers came to them with clear signs, but many of them continued to commit excesses in the land.

For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.

Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And Our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.

Bunun için İsrailoğullarına şöyle yazdık: "Kim bir kimseyi bir kimseye veya yeryüzünde bozgunculuğa karşılık olmadan öldürürse, bütün insanları öldürmüş gibi olur. Kim de onu diriltirse (ölümden kurtarırsa) bütün insanları diriltmiş gibi olur". And olsun ki, onlara belgelerle peygamberlerimiz geldi, sonra buna rağmen, onların çoğu yeryüzünde taşkınlık edenler oldu.

Bunun içindir ki, İsrâiloğulları'na: "Kim, bir cana kıymayan veya yeryüzünde bozgunculuk çıkarmayan bir nefsi öldürürse, bütün insanları öldürmüş gibi olur. Kim de bir nefsin yaşamasına sebep olursa, bütün insanları yaşatmış gibi olur" hükmünü yazdık (farz kıldık). Şüphesiz ki onlara peygamberlerimiz açık delillerle geldiler. Yine de bundan sonra onların birçoğu yeryüzünde aşırı gitmektedirler.

İşte bu yüzdendir ki İsrailoğulları’na şöyle yazmıştık: “Kim bir cana karşılık olmaksızın yani yeryüzünde bozgunculuk çıkarmaya karşılık olmaksızın, (haksız yere) bir cana kıyarsa bütün insanları öldürmüş gibi olur. Kim de bir cana hayat verirse (onun canını kurtarırsa) bütün insanlara hayat vermiş (onları kurtarmış) gibi olur.” Elçilerimiz onlara apaçık deliller getirmişlerdi. Sonra, onlardan çoğu yine yeryüzünde aşırıya kaçmaktadır.

بسبب جناية القتل هذه شَرَعْنا لبني اسرائيل أنه من قتل نفسا بغير سبب من قصاص، أو فساد في الأرض بأي نوع من أنواع الفساد، الموجب للقتل كالشرك والمحاربة فكأنما قتل الناس جميعًا فيما استوجب من عظيم العقوبة من الله، وأنه من امتنع عن قَتْل نفس حرَّمها الله فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعًا؛ فالحفاظ على حرمة إنسان واحد حفاظ على حرمات الناس كلهم. ولقد أتت بني إسرائيل رسلُنا بالحجج والدلائل على صحة ما دعَوهم إليه من الإيمان بربهم، وأداء ما فُرِضَ عليهم، ثم إن كثيرًا منهم بعد مجيء الرسل إليهم لمتجاوزون حدود الله بارتكاب محارم الله وترك أوامره.
