← Surah 57

57:10

وَمَا لَكُمْ أَلَّا تُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَلِلَّهِ مِيرَٰثُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ لَا يَسْتَوِى مِنكُم مَّنْ أَنفَقَ مِن قَبْلِ ٱلْفَتْحِ وَقَـٰتَلَ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَعْظَمُ دَرَجَةً مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدُ وَقَـٰتَلُوا۟ ۚ وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ

Translation

EN

And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah?- For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens and the earth. Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward). And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye do.

Why should you not give for God’s cause when God alone will inherit what is in the heavens and earth? Those who gave and fought before the triumph are not like others: they are greater in rank than those who gave and fought afterwards. But God has promised a good reward to all of them: God is fully aware of all that you do.

And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. And Allah is Informed of what ye do.

Not equal among you are those who spent before the conquest [of Makkah] and fought [and those who did so after it]. Those are greater in degree than they who spent afterwards and fought. But to all Allāh has promised the best [reward]. And Allāh, of what you do, is Aware.

Göklerin ve yerin mirasçısı Allah olduğu halde, Allah yolunda siz niçin sarf etmiyorsunuz? İçinizden Mekke'nin fethinden önce sarfeden ve savaşan kimseler, daha sonra sarfedip savaşan kimselerle bir değildirler, öncekiler daha üstün derecededirler. Allah, hepsine cenneti vadetmiştir. Allah, işlediklerinizden haberdardır.

Neden siz Allah yolunda harcamayasınız ki? Göklerin ve yerin mirası zaten Allah'ındır. Elbette içinizden, fetihten önce harcayan ve savaşan bir olmaz. Onların derecesi, sonradan infak eden ve savaşanlardan daha büyüktür. Bununla beraber Allah hepsinede en güzel sonucu vaad etmiştir. Allah yaptıklarınızdan haberdardır.

İçinizden zaferden önce infak eden (veren) ve savaşan(lar, diğerleriyle) eşit değildir. Onların derecesi, sonradan infak edenlerden (verenlerden) ve savaşanlardan daha üstündür. Allah hepsine en güzel olanı (cenneti) vadetmiştir. Allah yapmakta olduklarınızdan haberdardır.

وأيُّ شيء يمنعكم من الإنفاق في سبيل الله؟ ولله ميراث السموات والأرض يرث كلَّ ما فيهما، ولا يبقى أحد مالكًا لشيء فيهما. لا يستوي في الأجر والمثوبة منكم مَن أنفق من قبل فتح "مكة" وقاتل الكفار، أولئك أعظم درجة عند الله من الذين أنفقوا في سبيل الله من بعد الفتح وقاتلوا الكفار، وكلا من الفريقين وعد الله الجنة، والله بأعمالكم خبير لا يخفى عليه شيء منها، وسيجازيكم عليها.
